ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q swivel adjustment
Because of the way my desk is setup, I'd need to adjust the swivel of my monitor by about 20 deg. to the right - that *is* the angle between the monitor screen and the stand, right? I can't seem to find any concrete info or examples online or in the manual on how to do it, and since it's not really a cheap monitor, I don't want to force anything (especially since tilt, up/down height and rotation are all so smooth and easy to do). Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone could make or point me to a quick hands-on video, I'd be very grateful.

Hold the base with one hand, grab the stand from the rear behind the screen, and lift up on the stand bar in order to raise the screen up to a higher position.

Nope, I need to change the angle at which the screen is standing perpendicular to the bottom of the stand - that's "swivel", right? So I need to rotate the middle part of the horizontal stand - it looks like you can do that and it's mentioned in the manual, but I can't figure out how to do it without breaking something. In othee words, I need the screen to ve like like this ¤/ instead of this ¤| (top down view), if that makes sense.

EDIT sorry you edited while I was responding, I'll give it a try :)

Ah, it needed a tad more force (not a lot, mind you) to start moving - makes sense since the whole panel rests on it. Perfection! Thanks a lot!

Hahaha I had the same question. I have a new Asus XG27AQ. It should be able to swivel. But I couldn't manage it and also thought I could break it. But yes holding the ground and moving the horizontal part worked. You helped me a lot
