RX 580 Isnt detected/working and AMD Driver thinks it isnt installed
Hello, this morning I noticed there was an update for my Driver (18.8.1), I Install it, then I restart my PC. I fire up a game, and now the game runs at 5 FREAKING FPS and my fan goes as loud as a jet engine, I quickly shut off the game then I go into task manager, nothing. I check my monitors settings to see if it was that, and I notice of it going at 75 Hz, its going at 60 Hz. I go into my windows adapter settings and notice, instead of using my RX 580, its using a "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" and it only gives me the option of playing at 64 Hurtz, instead of 50, 60 and 75.

I go into my AMD driver and it thinks that theres no AMD GPU in my PC, which is false, mind you.

Please help me.

Sure, you can download the stable driver instead if you want.

Windows uses the default drivers, that is why it says "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" in the Device Manager. It is using your GPU it's just not using it properly.

If you were to Google the hardware ID listed in the device properties Google should say it's an RX 580.

When u ddu, do it via safe mode, then when u reboot, disconnect internet, then run gpu driver installer from amd, when it's done, reboot
