How do I plug the SATA cable back into the motherboard
The MOBO has SATA usbs on the side so its really hard to plug it in there

Best bet is never plug in the reset switch, to avoid accident resets while OS is running.
There really is not a need for it these days. If you must force the power off, you can use the main power switch on the rear of PSU, or hold case power button in for 5-secs.

If you are in BIOS or at a CMD Prompt and need to do a quick "reset" of power cycle you can simply press CTRL+ALT+DEL

the sideways ones can be difficult, but you can look at the manual for its orientation
for most, the clips are on top/bottom so you can unclip either seperately

Ok, what should I check if the pc doesn't turn on
Make sure the power button is connected correctly and the switch on the PSU is in the ON position.

PWR and GND are for the power button.

If you use a screwdriver to connect those two pins the PC will turn on as wel.

So, the switch power and reset are 2 pins one side says 'sw' and other 'ch'

Also what is 5 V DC?

Nothing we need to worry about. All you really need to connect for the PC to work is the power button. For the buttons the orientation of the connector does not matter, for the disk activity and power LED the orientation does matter.

I don't think the reset seitch fits any of the ports left after plugging in the others
Omega 7 aug, 2018 @ 2:44
It will fit. Unless you plugged the other cables in incorrectly.

The other ones look like they are in a right position because they fit. Didn't think its that hard to replace a mobo

I checked the other ones they all fit

Can the pc still start up without a gpu?

Yes it will start without a GPU. But you can only get it to display an image on the screen with a Ryzen 2200g or 2400g installed.

Test it WITH the GPU installed to make sure it is actually POSTing. It turning on doesn't mean that it is working properly.

I have no idea how but somehow my pc turned on, Ill put the gpu in later because I am tired as hell and see what happens, I didnt plug the reset switch in though

But if its turning on does it mean that I don't have to do anything inside my pc anymore?

your PC "turning on" means the CPU and power cables are attached correctly.
you still need a video signal to test the rest.

Many cases don't even come with a reset button. Not really needed.
