How do I unplug the SATA cable and a GPU?

SATA power uses a friction fit and can be wiggled/pulled out.

SATA data has a little lock on the top of the connector which you need to press down while at the same time pulling the connector out.


There are several ways GPUs can be locked in place, these are the two most common ones:
The modern way is a little latch similar to those on the RAM slots, SImply press it and at the same time pull the GPU out.

The old way is a piece of plastic latch which you need to press up while pulling the GPU out.

And of course don't forget to remove all these screws before you do this..


If you want to know which kind of latch you have you will need to post the make and model of the motherboard or post a picture of the lock.

My mobo is Gigabyte H110M-A

I pulled out the sata cable now the gpu

It's the modern latch.

Push that plastic thing and at the same time pull the GPU out.
