Good motherboard for 1440p 144hz gaming

Any Z370 chipset motherboard that costs average or better will be ample.

The maximus hero is for those who want to heavily overclock.. If you plan to delid your 8700k and water cool the CPU then that is a great board.. If you don't want to do that but still want to do some light overclocks the z370-F might be a better option

I run the Maxamus Hero X with a delidded 8700k and I was able to get a couple hundred more MHz out of it compared to the Gigabyte Gaming 5 I have.
