G502 Hero is just a 502 Proteus with a sensor that allows higher DPI and an updated Logitech logo. If you're on a budget the Proteus spectrums the better option because no one uses 16k DPI and it's half the price of the new HERO version. Idk about the Deathadder as I've never tried it
Thanks for the reply, i was actually just wondering what it's like to use the other 2 mices since i got bored of my rival 600, i don't really mind the prices that much

I got bored
Why not use the money to upgrade your PC or get a new game? Just seems shocking to me to spend so much on a mess when you have one that's working.
Yeah lol, i have a habit of wanting to buy new computer accessories because after getting bored of the current one that i'm using
i tried the g502 proteus (basically the hero) and i found it terrable for my large hands im actually using a much cheaper mouse from reddragon called the samsara

Yeah i know, there's really no reason for me to swap to a mouse just to see what it's like but it's pretty hard to save up for stuff because i'm really impatient

AFAIK most of the steelseries mice have a scroll wheel design problem[ngandy.me], unsure if the Rival is affected or not (my sensei started jumping only after a month of use!)

Got my son a deathadder, he loves it - seems to be a magic shape for palm grip and M/L hands. His is 3 years old now and so far no problems - lot of folks have issues with buttons failing and they are probably the most bashed company for lack of QA and focus on marketing.

Agree leaning towards the G502 (hero version or not), and may be worth checking out a G402 which has a similar shape to the deathadder. Using a G-pro at the moment, rock solid and excellent bang-per-buck when on sale.
