Buying my first gaming pc...on craigslist?
I am preparing to make transaction for this pc. I am buying off from craigslist and he's offering $1000 for the following

- Processor: i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz, 4201 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
- Graphics: GTX 1060 6 GB
- Ram: 16GB
- HDD: 1 TB
- SSD: 150 GB
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Monitor: 27-inch 1920x1080 60 hz
- Keyboard & Mouse

I am told him to hold to the deal for few days for me to decide. Should I proceed? He said he'll do a live demonstration and everything over at my place

I wouldn't necessarily that's a bad deal, but if its used you'd be better off building your own for a similar price

if this is for gaming i wouldnt reccomend buying this
its still good, but its not as good for gaming
you can get a i5 8400 and a gtx 1070, which is a better choice for gaming
i made this really quickly: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gh4yHh
reason i didnt add the windows 10 is because you can buy a windows 10 key for like 5 dollars, as long if you choose a trusted seller your already

this guy adds a monitor, so his is techinically cheaper, but with the specs i shows you ^^
but if you choose the i5 8400 and 1070 i would reccomend either a 144hz 1080p monitor (around 200 dollars), or a 1440p monitor (around 220 dollars)

That is pretty bad deal for those parts.
750$ is more like it.

I should've probably mentioned he was already offering $800 for the computer, and $200 for the other stuff

Don't buy those prebuilts, they are bad choices even when on sale.

Almost same price but you have:

Better power supply
Better cooler
Bigger and faster SSD
Better motherboard
Better 1070Ti model
Bigger HDD
