Malwarebytes fails a scan
I constabtly get message malwarebytes encountered an error while running a scan. I get it in pre-scan phase and I can't continue after that. Im running windows in safe mode. IK windowed mode isn't a provlem as I have already got it working on my uncle's laptop

Running it in the normal mode fixes it tho. Im confused. How's that it works on my uncle's laptop in safe mode but notnon my pc

What you mean Windowed Mode? That's not a mode for apps like Malwarebytes.
Do you mean the OS Safe Mode perhaps?

I would just start with an uninstall of the entire app, via Windows Normal Mode (what normally boots up; not a "safe mode" variant" of any kind)

Then go re-download the latest version installer from their official site and reinstall it.

are you running windows and malwarebytes in a virtual envoronment?

If so then that probably is the issue; some in-depth apps of that kind wont have direct access to the RAM and Drive MBR and things of that sort in a VM

Between an OS like Win10 and Malwarebytes; you shouldn't need to do like the Win98 or XP days and always go to Safe Mode to double scan to be sure.

If Malwarebytes catches something, it will usually tell you it needs to reboot and then re-scan to help ensure what it found is entirely removed.

Still the same applies for the most part.
You shouldn't need to jump into the OS Safe Mode to run virus scans.
If you have something nasty enough on your PC that would really require such a process, then try https://www.malwarebytes.com/chameleon

If the infection is still too nasty, nuke the OS Drive and clean install your OS + Updates + Drivers + Apps
