Controller pressing buttons by itself?
My controller has been acting up recently as it randomly presses the LT button. Help?

Either theres crud in the trigger mechanisum or you need to alter the deadzone for the trigger (if the driver or game allows for it)

Either there is dirt in the button mechanism, or in the game the sensitivity is too high.
Or your trigger is just simply broken and it's constantly being pressed.

I kinda think it's the former as I left my controller in the open for 6 months untouched. How Do I clean my controller?

You need to take it apart.

Well, that's the only way. By taking it apart, cleaning it, then reassembling it.
Of course this will void any warranty you have left on it.
