ASUS, EVGA, MSI are 10X better, hands down.
Yes of course MSI Afterburner will work, that one in particular works with pretty much ANY GPU. However you can't control the LEDs/RGB with it unless it is MSI branded GPU, otherwise, its the best software to use for GPU basically. That plus RivaTuner are very good together.
Open the Gigabyte GPU software, reset the GPU to Default using the Reset option, this will reset clocks and fan settings back to GPU's BIOS defaults again. Then uninstall the software and then give MSI Afterburner a try and see how u like it.
YOu'll only need RGB Fusion to crontol the RGB. never had issues with RGB Fusion unless I installed another RGB Software like Asus Aura. Then RGB Fusion takes several minutes for everythign you try to do and buggs out.
Sounds weird to have it that way, but I guess it could be a good thing.
With EVGA and ZOTAC, GPU lighting has to be controlled by their GPU software.
The RGB of the Motherboard and connected with it a Gigabyte GPU can also be controlled in BIOS of a GIgabyte Motherboard.
However individually changing certain RGB lights and noe all at once you have to use RGB Fusion. Nothing else will allow you to do this.
Besides that, there is nothing what your need Gigabytesoftware for.
yes - exactly
