Upgrading a asus g20aj

Is it possible to switch the GTX 760 with a rtx 2080 ti. If so is there any thing I would need with the graphics card?

Sure, as long as the PSU can power it and the case can fit it.
But i'd wait with a purchase as it seems there are a lot of defective 2080Ti being delivered to customers.

If the rest of the system is as old and same grade as the 760, you will not get all out of the 2080TI.

Also, 2080TI have had a lot of failures.

EDIT: The G20AJ seems to be a very small SFF system. It cannot fit full sized gpu.

a 2080ti likely wouldn't fit in the case and i seriously doubt the PSU is good enough to power such a card. so no it's not possible without case modding(maybe) or psu upgrade.

if u want to keep your components and just upgrade the GPU. use your existing motherboard, ram, cpu, storage in a new case with a new PSU of atleast 650watt 80+ certified

980 Ti / 1070 Ti is about the highest you can go with those.

Hello Opsroller, I've found a 2080 turbo (blower style) at a decent price, so I'm ready to upgrade. Any advice for this ? Did you encounter any problem with yours ? No troubles with tdp or power supply so far ?

Let me rephrase...

Sure you can install and use a 2080 Ti. However the CPU is going to hold it back pretty badly to where you will never be able to enjoy a 2080 for what it really is.
