1440p 144hz vs 1080p 60hz for my pc build
Lets say that Im interested in the first option
will these specs allow it (60+fps) or some parts will hold me back so i should stick with the second option ?

i7 8700k 3.70ghz (not overclocked but stays at 4.20-4.40ghz)
hyper x fury 2x8GB ddr4 2400mhz (pc capable of only 2133mhz i know )
gtx 1070\gtx 1080 (haven't decided yet need your help)
gigabyte b360 hd3 (the b360 was a mistake )

note about the refresh rate : im not playing fps multiplayer online games like cs go overwatch fortine or pubg I play mainly singleplayer open world games - The witcher 3 far cry gta cyberpunk 2077 (when it releases) assasin's creed and red dead redemption 2 (debatable if gonna release to pc or not )

and yeah - I " love " brackets ;)

The 1080 is not stable for 4k and 4k means that i need investing in costly gaming parts to run it smooth so probably not

so......anyone to answer my main question ?

You just need to look it yourself. All 1440p 144hz monitors are basically the same so it doesn't really matter that much which one you get.
Not true. You need to decide between a VA panel, IPS, color depth, etc.
There are bad ones out there
Not my main question but ok....what factors do i need to consider when buying a 1440p screen

If you're going for looks get IPS, the colours are so much nicer, much more vivid, like you're looking at real life.

Maybe G-sync, but it's a little overpriced. Helps if your frames do ever drop, you most likely wouldn't notice it then.

Ignore the response time (1-5ms) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, becuase that's not actually how fast the monitor responds to your movements.
(A '5ms' monitor can 'respond' faster than a '2ms' one.)
Plus, anything below 5-10ms is really imperceptible.

You wouldn't want one that's too big, just ruins the pixel density, resulting in a worse looking image, but that's just me, most people wouldn't have a problem.

How good the pannel is you're buying (If there is backlight bleed, flickering, ghosting)

Guess you could consider 21:9 (3440x1440p) vs 16:9 (2560x1440p) aspect ratio.
Ultrawide (21:9) should provide better immersion, but will take more GPU power to push at max settings.

That's just about all I can think of at the moment.
Sorry for being dumb but 3440x1440p ? Is it still considered 1440p res ? Also some formus recommand to get a 1080ti for such resolutions...

Also for reference ...I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ standard 21.7 inch 1920x1080p 60hz. Screen

Yes.
Just make sure you say ultrawide or 21:9. Otherwise people will asume you mean 2560x1440p.

And if you want max settings at that res, yes. You need real beef to back it. I wouldnt really recommend anything else but 1080ti / 2080 /2080ti.
You could get away with a 1080. But youd have to turn down settings.
Then I should get 2560x1440p for 1080...less performance problems the better. its the 21:9 ratio right ?
you should look at it this way..........

the GPU is the most expensive component in a PC gaming build and you should always spend as much money possible on it without going completely broke. there is no reason to buy a GPU then have to replace it 2-3 years later because you didnt buy something better back then.

so either go 1080 or 1080ti accept nothing less

2560x1440p is 16:9.
3440x1440p is 21:9. (Ultrawide)

But yes. You shouldnt really have a problem with any game at 1440p (16:9) with a 1080.
Get a decent aftermarket one with high boostclock and its a breeze.

Yes he does. Typically the ASUS ROG Strix cards come with the highest boost clock out of the box, but if you get a card with 2 8-pin power connectors you'll be able to overclock the card if you want
Yup I plan to buy gtx 1080rog strix but they are so costly here in my country
note - my cpu cooler is a Arctic Cooling Freezer 13
Is it fine or will I get overheating from 1440p gaming 60-100 fps ?
I'm not an "expert" on pc parts and how they work together
