Good temp range to be in?
I want to play some very demanding games. What's a good temperature range to stay in? My GPU went up to 40 C after playing Witcher 3 for an hour. Is that safe? I have a desktop.

The temperature doesn't matter as long as it doesn't get too warm, the max GPU temperature is usually around 85c and the max CPU temp around 90c with a few old AMD CPUs being an exception who will run unstable above 63c.

40C is very cool. Newer gpus won't throttle speed down until 80-83 at stock and they can go up to 100C.

anything under 58 is great though 60-70 is semi safe, my gpu and pcu usually run under and stay under 50 most times under 40 and 30 locked. even hours of usage never running high at all.
