Why are all RTX 2080 ti's so ugly ?
It seems like all gpu manufacturers are competing for the 'ugliest gpu' award. Even EVGA, who usually made pretty nice looking gpus, went with clear plastic for their latest gpus, which unsurprisingly looks disgusting. Whats up with that? So far nvidias own Founders Edition looks the most luxurious, with its smooth curves and metallic look. Why cant anyone else do something like it?

I'm considering upgrading in a month or two, but current gpu's are so ugly its really putting me off.

Why do you care if it's in your computer? Your computer won't reject it because it looks ugly.

strix is pretty much the same, its pretty much just bigger
evga has some weird designs though, like its not bad but its not good either, especially with the 20 series, but at least u can change the color of the accents with that
also the box is cool

if the look really bothers you that much then you can wait until more gpus with different designs come out, maybe with like water cooling or something, or mod another cooler and put it on your rtx card

you actually have rights to opinion on that! theres plenty of strong GPU out there that i dont care to own because of size and the way its built, i personally like my gpu to be less than 7-10 inches and about 1 gpu slot of width for regular towers

The triple fan Asus Strix RTX 2080 Ti ROG OC is still yet to be released in Canada and has me waiting still.

The old FE style looked nice and elegant, the new FE look like Apple styled garbage.

The MSI Gaming TRIO however is the best looking one by far and is one of the fastest RTX that exists, hands down.

Ugh, i think its one of the ugliest ones... Its too square and has differently sized fans and stupid looking rgb lights...

And the fact that new FE cards look like something made by Apple is exactly why i like it. One thing Apple is good at is making good looking stuff. I'm still in love with my iphone 6.

I do think that nvidia is going in the right direction with their FE coolers. If they could just make a triple fan and 3 slots thick version, it would be completely perfect.

You can turn lights off, and those different sized fans serve a purpose and are like that for a reason.

I really have no isue with a card not being pretty. I have a gtx 1080 ti gigabyte aoris and think it looks a bit silly. So what. The only potential problem is resale value.

Function over looks. Highest priority should be keeping hardware cool and providing good airflow.
