Cant disconnect fan header
It just wont pull off. And i dont want to pull by the wires because im scared they will break off the header. And ideas?

Make sure there isn't a lock holding it in place. Other than that, always apply force on the plastic section of the header.

wiggle and pull, some clip harder than others
fan header should not have a locking latch like the power plugs

Its off now, i needed my dad to help me XP.

But now im removing the thermal paste, im just using a tissue and it looks clean. But is it actaully clean? I dont have much other stuff to clean it with.

tissues often have lotion in them
use a cloth and 90%+ isopropol

but a small bottle of isopropol is cheap at a local drug store

If its never been unplugged before, it can be tight, did you try a pair of needle nose pliers?
