Ryzen 3 2200g gaming low fps and stutters alot
Here's my current setup:

Ryzen 2200g

Amd Wraith Stealth cpu cooler

Msi b350m mortar

2x4gb 2666mhz Geil Evo Potenza

240gb ssd Kingston

Corsair CX 750m

Everything on the bios settings is on default, no overclocking or tweaking the settings;

3.5ghz cpu clock or AUTO on the bios setting

GFX counter is on AUTO as well, don't know if that means it's on 1100mhz

Dram is currently on 2133mhz

Games I've played:

Paladins, the only game I've been able to play 'smoothly' on 1024x768 with all it's settings set to low and still suffered lags and stutters with everything going on, sometimes even during the countdown timer 'the battle is about to begin' (20 - 22+ fps)

Unturned, opening it up to the menu screen, already suffered major fps drops, gone as so far to 16fps and 25-26 fps at best. And this is on 800 x 600 windowed

Did I missed something? Drivers update? Bios update? I'm not even aiming for AAA titles and already getting abysmal fps. And the guy who assembled the build for me (I didn't buy any of the list product at his place) says that I need to apply a discrete graphic card if I want butter smooth gameplay WHICH I will eventually buy one cause gpu cost here is bounced off the price chart when it comes to GTX 1060 or RX 570

Watch some Youtube video of how to overclock it, you have the B350 motherboard so you can do it, even with stock cooler.
And with that run your RAM at higher Mhz then 2133, lot of Ryzen APU performance depends on RAM Mhz, should be able to get that RAM running at 3000 Mhz or at least its stock speed of 2666 Mhz.

You need to make that RAM run at at least the rated 2666Mhz. Preferably higher. Ryzen's and especially the integrated Vega's performance is HIGHLY dependant on the speed and timings.

2133Mhz is just WAY too slow.

What about 2400mhz?

The 2200g is 40% slower than a 1030, you should have got the 2400g but now just get a discrete GPU as soon as you can.

You can OC your APU and RAM but don't expect miracles.

You should get way better results even with this RAM. What operating system did you use ?

Oh yes, and the B350M Mortar has 4 RAM slots, it should be checked that the sticks are installed in a dual channel.

Using single channel halves the performance of the Vega chip.

The sticks should be installed in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 to get dual channel.
If they are on slots 1 and 2 or 3 and 4, they are single channel.

Besides the good advice above.. Read page 44 of the motherboard manual. Make sure you've assigned 2-4GB of ram to the frame buffer size if possible.

Another reason todays PCs should have 16GB of RAM; not 8

Overall, sounds like the OP has yet to install all the Drivers needed.
Go to AMD.com and grab the latest Drivers for

Desktop > Graphics > Vega
-and-
Desktop > Chipset > Ryzen (AM4)

Hi everyone. Thanks for the helpful feedback! Here's my conclusion on getting the gaming experience fixed.

I've updated the motherboard's bios to it's latest.

I've installed the Amd's drivers, link provided by Tech Deals himself with his Ryzen 2200g build video and NOT Amd's own support links.

I've installed Msi Amd chipset driver compatibility

Overclocked both the Ram memory to 2933 mhz and igpu frequency clock to 1500 mhz, beyond that and I didn't get past the blue boot screen before the 'USER Welcome' screen

And now able to play games with 'butter smooth' fps.

I mayhaps purchase myself another 2x4 kit ram since the local computer shop here only have the brand that I'm currently using. My next list to buy is gaming monitor, other peripherals, UPS and a 1 or 2 tb hard drive.

Already done that. Thanks!

do you have 2 or 4 slots for ram?

if 4, is it possible you occupied the wrong slots and are running single channel mode? that would halve the GPU performance. also check drivers are set up right.

lastly, full screen might run better than windowed mode
