I updated my Nvidia drivers, and now I have worse performance and horrible stuttering
I updated them using the GeForce experience thing because they were outdated and thought that would help my computer, but it just made it worse. How do I fix this, or can I go back?
Here are my specs if it matters.
gtx 750ti, amd fx 6300, 8gb ram

Because newer Drivers aren't meant for your old hardware.
Stick to a 391.xx driver or older.
Wipe everything using the DDU App now that u have this issue and clean install an older driver from https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx (Pick GPU and OS first) then click Search.

Most stable recent Drivers are basically any of the ones with 391.xx or 388.xx

Later than 391 it will generally not help anyone on GTX 7xx or older GPUs.

This will most likely be sure very soon for the GTX 9xx series.

Overall unless newer features or actual performance is gained, there really is no reason to change driver.

Since you're on AMD Chipset also; get latest AMD 7 or 8 series Chipset Driver from AMD; after cleaning with the DDU App.

Since you have Windows 10, best bet firstly is disable the OS' ability to handle auto driver installs via what it already has built-in, or via Windows Updates.

Once that is all disabled to avoid Win10 auto installing say, GPU driver or others the next time the PC is connected online and grabbing them through Windows Updates...

Run the DDU App and go to Safe Mode with it.

750TI is Maxwell based gpu, just like 900 series cards.
Newest drivers do work well on those, the problem was driver installation gone bad. Just wipe the drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and install them again.

You don't need to use such an old drivers with it.

I did all that and updated my nvidia drivers, and csgo seemed to be working just llike before. I didnt upgrade my chipset drivers though because your link led me to the support page and i couldnt find my cpu there. Im gonna test tf2 in a bit because thats the game i had stuttering issues with.

just an fyi, the driver installer from nvidia provides a tool to wipe the previous drivers. select the advanced option upon install or the custom and tell it to wipe previous drivers. see the following https://cdn.ghacks.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/nvidia-custom-component-installation.jpg
