I was using ds4 controller wireless with ds4windows fine for like a year with all steam games, never configured anything controller related inside steam as everything was working great with ds4windows. Since last 2days when i have steam turned on my d-pad buttons are not working, right stick is messed up, R1 button makes my mouse pointer move left and press right mouse button, opens up tabs in big picture mode, sometimes it makes my mouse stick to left side of screen till I force close steam or turn off my ds4. I have tried to turn off, unbind everything in steam controller options but not fixed anything.
I had steam beta turned on earlier, tried turning it off but opting out didn't fix it, only turning off steam makes it work normally. Tried to opt in beta again, update and still the same .... So well, can't use a controller now with any steam game .....
Toggle controller support in Steam settings
Steam > Settings > Controller > General controller settings
With Steam closed load DS4windows. Under settings make sure Hide DS4 Controller is checked. load Steam andsee if that helps.
