Planning to buy Logitech G512 keyboard, tactile or linear switch?

as the title says, i've never used a mechanical keyboard before so i am used to play on a classic logitech k100 keyboard.

this is my first time switching to a mechanical keyboard but i don't know which switch type should i get, i've tried googling it a lot between the two differences but i still can't tell which one would i prefer

i wish i could try both of them and pick whichever suits me but unfortunately there's no offline store that sell that here so i have to buy it online and there's no refund/exchange policy if i buy them there

i know it's a matter of personal preferences and for each person it's different, but still can anyone explain to me which switch should i go for? here is my preference if it could help
1. i like to play co-op games, right now my favorite is monster hunter world
2. i play moba games too like LOL or Dota 2
3. i like playing rhythm games such as osu and audiosurf

also i've tried a logitech G413 on my friend's house and i think it was fine, is that a linear or tactile switch?

I would just avoid... look at ones with Cherry MX
Tight budget? Then look at something like Corsair Strife series of Mechanical Keyboard perhaps.

The G413 uses the original Romer-G switches, they are tactile - review of them here[www.tomshardware.com] and there's a good summary of all the common switches available here.

I tried one on display at staples, Romer-G feels like a low-profile MX brown switch w/ o-rings installed, they are pretty good IMO. Curious about the linear ones, have to give a try if I can find one...

That's probably your best bet, head on over to best buy or somewhere they usually have Corsair / Razer / Logitech boards that are out on display so you can try out different ones.

spending my entire night surfing the internet to read reviews and videos etc and i finally decided to get the linear switch, will arrive in 3 hours so i just hope it won't disappoint me xd
