60 FPS is night and day vs 30 FPS, I have never played on 4K but I assume that it is just a tad bit sharper. Correct me if I’m wrong.

From 1080p to 4K is a huge jump, that much is sure. Yet high refresh rate maintains a different sorta advantage.

1080p @ 60Hz, unless you can afford a display that can go to a higher refresh rate.

well why dont you guys start asking what monitor he has? for example there is no reason to talk about any of those resolotion if OP has a 1280x720 monitor. Also 60 FPS as settigns doesnt help if he has an old 50Hz monitor.

It always depends on what the monitor supports. always take the native resolution of the monitor at its native refreshrate.

If we talk about buying a new monitor it depends on budget, hardware and games he is playing with. No reason to choose 4K if you have a budget of 200$ and just a GTX 1050.

according to your profile you have a GTX 840M on you first computer which is nto closely capable of 4K gaming.

Then you have a GTX 1060 Ti 8GB which does nto exsist. If it is a GTX 1060 6GB it is not capable of 4K gaming. a GTX 1070 Ti is limtied capable of it. Befor you lwoer your resolution to 1440p I would lwoer it to 1080p instead of 4K. The thing is that 2 pixels act then as 1 instead of 3 pixels acting as 2.

And this is why I no longer take Steam profiles seriously, not that it's really worthy of note most of the time.

my iGPU upto 3840x2160
my displays are plugged into igpu not normal gpu.
Normal GPU for Processing
iGPU for Display

It exist on my country somehow we get from european countries we cannot do shipping from america cause currency is rising and becoming poor.

People keep saying this, yet on the Shenmue forum there are hundreds of people who swear blind they can play shenmue at 60fps on their emulators.

Obviously the game is locked to 30fps and what they're seeing is the virtual fps counter running at 60htz. Clearly all those people can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps by sight alone.
