Questions about Cooler master h500m
Thinking of getting a new case, cooler master h500m to be exact. If you own this case I have couple questions for you.

1. Does it scratch easily?
2. Does dust easily end up inside the case?
3. How hard or easy is the cable management?
4. What fans would you prefer adding?(not noctua fans and rgb would be a plus)
5. How easy it is to build inside this case?

I expect you'll get some "don't buy that, it's the worst case ever made!" comments. Don't worry about them. They're confusing the H500M with the H500P. The H500P was hilariously awful, but thankfully Cooler Master have learned their lesson and the H500M is what everybody wanted it to be. A solid case with great airflow.

1: All cases scratch easily.
2: They all fill with dust, especially open designs like this.
3: Above-Average
4: I'd go with BeQuiet PureWings IIs. They're very affordable, virtually silent, beautifully built and blow a powerful air current from very low RPM. Perfect for a large case. They're not RGB, but there aren't many good RGB fans. You can convert them to RGB using Phanteks HALOs RGB light rings.
5: Very. It's a big open box, it comes apart pretty easily.

A tip for you; CableMod kits are expensive but they make Cable Management a lot easier. They're much more flexible than normal cables, and the brightly coloured paracords set off any build. If you like RGB, white paracord picks up your RGB lighting and spreads it through the case. Looks about as nice as RGB ever can.

Okey, I'll look into that.

NP. Sorry for the slightly confused first post, I made it in a hurry.

The H500 has a story to it, and you should know it before you buy one. When CM announced it, people went crazy for it. Because let's be honest; it's gorgeous. But the early versions had serious design flaws.

Larger fans have poor Static Pressure. And that means a 200mm fan can't pull air through a tiny intake duct very well, the ducts on the front were simply too small for the H500P to work properly.
It was also flimsy and fragile, the case panels tended to fall off. Not a good look.

And so Corsair then released the H500M. And it's a massive improvement. It's intakes are three times larger, and the front panel is open for intake. And that's taken it from the bottom of the class to having some of the best airflow in it's price range. It's also a much stronger case, with redesigned panels and strong latches and clamps.

And so that's why some people may panic and try to talk you out of it. They're remembering how disappointing the H500P was. And not realizing that the H500M fixed all of it's faults, and has become a very good case.

Okey, thx a lot again.
little late to the discussion. I've just finished building my first ever PC in a H500M; being my first build i do not have perspective on how it compare but i personally found it quite easy to build in and the swinging panel at the back does a great job of hiding all the cables [managed straight row of cables :)]
