Gtx 1060 6gb with Freesync monitor

Is it okay to use Gtx 1060 6gb and i3 8100 with a Freesync monitor of refresh rate 60hz?Will I experience any problem?

It will work without any issues. You just won't be able to user Freesync.

(Don't bother linking that LTT 'Freesync on Nvidia' video..)

FreeSYnc is just an extra feature that can be enabled and will only work on AMD gpu.

I'm using a GTX 1080 with a Freesync monitor. Of course, I can't use Freesync due to Nvidia's stubbornness on selling their G-Sync modules(and thus raising a monitor's price by a significant amount) but, besides that, it works exactly like a monitor of equal specs without Freesync.
