i7-8750H / i7 7820HK Gaming Benchmarks
Assuming the same GPU (GTX 1070) and same spec RAM whic CPU is likely to be better at gaming? 1080p FHD btw.

More modern, higher IPC, 2 more cores, will scale better into the future.

The 8750H has much better benchmarks in single and multi thread performance.

There is no reason to vote anything else. It litterally voting between new stronger CPU with more cores or an older weaker CPU with 50% less cores and threads.

It's an obvious choice.
