Logitech gaming software not detecting my G29
Has anyone else had this problem and founf a fix? Been to Logitech support and that was a waste of time. There are several others on there with the same problem and nobody is getting any help with it. It detects my gaming mouse and keyboard but won't detect my wheel.

IDK what else to attempt to try then.
Bought 1 of each back when they first released, 1 is on Win7-PC, 1 on Win10-PC; never had any real issues to speak of. G29 one works great on our PS4-Pro as well.

Does Logitech have an actual Community Forum?

Also could try this Forum, popular for most modern PC Games that involve Driving/Racing > https://www.racedepartment.com/forums

Yeah I and several other people have asked about the problem in their community forum and nobody has gotten an answer about it. Some of the questions are from a couple months ago and still have not gotten any anwers.
Did you install the drivers using Device Manager? Or did you get them from Logitech’s website?

Straight from their site.

I don't know if this will solve anything for you - IF it does not - then try something else as,
1) I found this on the web'
2) It is about thier mouses's and not wheels'
3) all I could find. So far - that applied - even a little.

How do I connect my Logitech mouse?
Pair with another Unifying receiver
Download and install Logitech Unifying software.
Press the Easy-Switch button to select a channel.
Press the Connect button. ...
On the computer, plug the Unifying receiver into a USB port and follow the onscreen instructions for completing the pairing.

$) Come back and tell us the results. I do a little more poking around.
It showed up in device manager and works in Forza. However, not working with steam
Hi Guys

I think I cracked the problem on my Machine.

First go to devices and uninstall the G29 driver, mark the checkbox to remove the driver if shown. (sometimes my G29 was shown as an 'HID Game device')

Unplug the device from the system.

Then Go into 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid'

right click 'LGJoyHid.inf' and select install

do the same for 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid\WinUSB\LGJoyWinUsb.inf'

And plug in the device again.
After that the G29 appeared in LGS for me.

Four months later and this post is exactly what I needed!

I didn't have to uninstall the device driver first (couldn't even find it), but doing the two installs on the INF made Logitech find it again.

Thanks a lot!

Anyways to try the device on another PC that meets the requirements?

Hi
I have the same "project" running at the moment... This Device is a "sometimes do - sometimes not". Mine works perdiodicalliy on a 'DELLl Studio 1555' running 'Win7-HomePr'. after more than 3 times uninstall/reinstall of drivers LGS, LG-Hub and everything Logitech and other users tell to install/not install.. Sometimes it runs but no show up in LG-Hub - sometimes vice-versa..

On the Win10-machine the drivers and all other (suspect) stuff that is installed after connect are shown in Device-Manager. The Device does nothing but turn left, turn right after connect (calibration sequence).

I have seen a thread stating that placing the selector on top to PS3 instead of PS4 triggers LGS to detect your device. Just a flip of a switch, so worth a shot, right?

For my machine (working DELL) it is also the 'PS3-Mode' for correct functionality.

Do you have any other fixes?
Download Ghub, it's been updated for the G29.
^ This

Also uninstall any older Logitech software you have installed firstly
It actually worked now, thanks.
