Bought 1 of each back when they first released, 1 is on Win7-PC, 1 on Win10-PC; never had any real issues to speak of. G29 one works great on our PS4-Pro as well.
Does Logitech have an actual Community Forum?
Also could try this Forum, popular for most modern PC Games that involve Driving/Racing > https://www.racedepartment.com/forums

I think I cracked the problem on my Machine.
First go to devices and uninstall the G29 driver, mark the checkbox to remove the driver if shown. (sometimes my G29 was shown as an 'HID Game device')
Unplug the device from the system.
Then Go into 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid'
right click 'LGJoyHid.inf' and select install
do the same for 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid\WinUSB\LGJoyWinUsb.inf'
And plug in the device again.
After that the G29 appeared in LGS for me.
I didn't have to uninstall the device driver first (couldn't even find it), but doing the two installs on the INF made Logitech find it again.
Thanks a lot!
Hi
I have the same "project" running at the moment... This Device is a "sometimes do - sometimes not". Mine works perdiodicalliy on a 'DELLl Studio 1555' running 'Win7-HomePr'. after more than 3 times uninstall/reinstall of drivers LGS, LG-Hub and everything Logitech and other users tell to install/not install.. Sometimes it runs but no show up in LG-Hub - sometimes vice-versa..
On the Win10-machine the drivers and all other (suspect) stuff that is installed after connect are shown in Device-Manager. The Device does nothing but turn left, turn right after connect (calibration sequence).
For my machine (working DELL) it is also the 'PS3-Mode' for correct functionality.
This worked for me. Issue occurred after a windows update if anyone's interested
Do you have any other fixes?
Also uninstall any older Logitech software you have installed firstly
