Logitech gaming software not detecting my G29
Has anyone else had this problem and founf a fix? Been to Logitech support and that was a waste of time. There are several others on there with the same problem and nobody is getting any help with it. It detects my gaming mouse and keyboard but won't detect my wheel.

Hi Guys

I think I cracked the problem on my Machine.

First go to devices and uninstall the G29 driver, mark the checkbox to remove the driver if shown. (sometimes my G29 was shown as an 'HID Game device')

Unplug the device from the system.

Then Go into 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid'

right click 'LGJoyHid.inf' and select install

do the same for 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid\WinUSB\LGJoyWinUsb.inf'

And plug in the device again.
After that the G29 appeared in LGS for me.

THIS IS THE FIX IT WORKED FOR ME!!! THANKS DUDE

Bought a new G29 recently and what a nightmare getting force feedback working on Windows 10 64bit. BOTH the latest GHub and LGS simply do not work after multiple re-installs. This is across all games, not just specific games. It is 1000% an issue with the disgraceful Logitech software quality.

The ONLY way I have been able to get force feedback across games is by uninstalling all Logitech software, then downloading and installing an old version of LGS from 2018!
I used: ftp:/ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming/LGS_8.98.234_x64_Logitech.exe

NOTE: Even after installed LGS will report it cannot detect the wheel but this is deceptive, because the G29 tab is visible under settings, and with this version of LGS running games such as Euro Truck Sim 2, Mudrunner, Dirt 2 all now actual full force feedback.

Logitech are an absolute disgrace, they release new versions of ♥♥♥♥-Hub and LGS that simply break/remove a major selling point of their product (force feedback). Absolutely no clear workaround offered, no support from actual Logitech employees, etc.

I wonder how many gullible/non-technical people have had an auto update break FFB and thought that the wheel is physically broken, then handed over more cash to Logitech for a new brand new wheel? As I said, a disgrace, but I'm sure this is just how Logitech like it!

Holy crap this actually helped me.

I installed Ghub, biggest mistake of my life.
No more FFB, No more rumble/vibration, no more RPM lights (G29).
Uninstalling and going back to the latest LGS (9.04.49) and still same problem.
Tried installing LGS 9.02.65, same problem.
Tried removing drivers and reinstalling them.
Tried everything, anybody said anywhere.

But this helped, actually installing 8.98.234.
Everything working again.

Well done Logitech!

Does your G29 work on Playstation?
I wonder it might be broken.

I just checked my G29 and G923 on G Hub for any updated firmware today.

Try to use my method. In my experience with ghub it doesnt want to work with me and usually very laggy interface. Logitech Gaming Software works better IMO.

Also the wheel has a PS4 -vs- PC toggle switch on it. What mode is it on right now? If you change this mode though, unplug it from your PC first before you change it

then lgs is not installed, or it was installed to a different location

find lcore.exe in task manager and browse its location
