How do I monitor my system stats in game? (Without resorting to task manager)
I'd like some sort of overlay to monitor my system settings while I am gaming, just to see how much of what everything is using. Does something like this exist?

-NZXT CAM
-MSI Afterburner
-HWMonitor
...

Pretty Much Every Monitoring Software. Prefer MSI AB

MSI Afterburner + Riva Tuner
Then go into MSI-AB Settings > Monitoring
enable the OSD settings, then click OK to apply.
Then you'll notice RivaTuner running in background, configure that.
You can configure an On/Off Hotkey combo for the OSD (on-screen-display) within the MSI-AB settings.

How to Show the FPS in Battlefield 1
The following method is very simple and the best method if we just want to show the FPS for a short period…
Just open the Battlefield 1 console with the tilde key (~).
In the console we have to type the command “perfoverlay.drawfps 1” without the quotation marks please and confirm the command with the return key.
How to disable the FPS overlay in Battlefield 1
Just open the Battlefield 1 console again with the tilde key (~).
This time we have to type the command “perfoverlay.drawfps 0” without the quotation marks and use the return key to confirm.
By the way, the FPS overlay will also be disabled if we just restart the game.

the question is how to monitor your system without tabbing to task manager (fps doesnt get shown there). SO that doesnt help to monitor stuff liek RAM, CPU, GPU usage or temps at all. beside that FPS getting show with that aswell and steam has it own overlay for it.

Yea forget FPS stuff in games, each Game Client has it's own FPS Counter in its options, use that. But if you want full details of CPU, GPU, Temps, how much RAM being used, etc. etc...

Use MSI Afterburner + RivaTuner
Setup it up to display what you need.
Configure hotkeys also so you can toggle the overlay on/off as needed, you don't want it on and in your face the entire time.

^ Trial version works ok with a water mark though.

What is the point of this junk?
Each game client has an FPS Counter built in, just turn it on, done.
No BS clogging up your PC.

But if you want something in-depth beyond just an FPS counter, that's where MSI-AB + RivaTuner comes into play and allows for tons of options for what to display, how to display, what your hotkeys are set as if needed, what all the fonts and colors are, what's the sizing of the displayed info, where it shows up on the screen location, etc.

There no need to download stuff like MSI Afterburner since Radeon™ Overlay can do it too.
