RGB LED Strips
I don't think there are any LED pins for lights to plug into a Asus Prime Z370-P motherboard, so I need help with suggestions. What is the best way to add magnetic RGB LED strips to a PC? Is my only option using a remote to change the colours apose to PC software?

Corsair Lightning Node or NZXT Hue. I personally perfer first.

You connect them to an USB 2 Header on your Motherboard and can control them via Software then. No additional Power despite USB required. If you do, it will require a STA power connector which you have plenty on all PSU cables by default (the same you use to power drives).

OP's motherboard does not have RGB header control RGB strips using software.

@OP. You can use NXT Hue+ (Corsair/ASUS do a similar product but not what they are called). You cannect the RGB strips to the the NZXT Hue+ module. You can control the colours using NZXT Hue+ software.

Will a 'EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply' work worth this LED Strip kit? Can't tell if the PSU has a old '4pinDC connector'. (That or maybe some suggestions for ATX mid tower cases that have a built in RGB LEDs that you can control with a panel button.)

Although those both seem much better, they are over $70CAD on Amazon.ca... I can't justify that for my friend for some RGB LEDs. :(

Thank you for offering suggetions though
Then just buy a cheap set that connects to USB and comes with a Remote.
The ones that look designed for Cars and TVs for ambient lighting addons, are still just USB 5V @ 1Amp
