https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ < This url will only show us the list we have on our local system; not the one with YOUR parts.
Also what do you have for things such as:
> Power Supply
> OS
You're going to want to redo your OS clean install after such a hardware change.
And that you will want to install Windows 10 64bit
I just only wanna upgrade my trashy MSI Z97 PC mate, i7 4790 cpu and ddr3 16gb memory. I want something that is better and around about £600 or a bit bellow that value. I have an EVGA 750P2 platinium PSU and SSD for just windows 10 and HD mainly for my games and other programs.

That's good enough, I got everything backed up. Plus will i have to buy windows 10 again?
It says on the website "Warning: These parts have potential issues/incompatibilities." Highlighted in red.
So will that all fit in my Corsair Carbide Air 540 Cube Case?
Link is bellow of the model that i own.

Pretty much any of the GSkill or Corsair RAM should be fine; models offered in 3000 or 3200 for example.
whats the problem, why do you feel you need a cpu/mobo/ram upgrade?
Cause DDR3 will be outdated soon won't it?
the speed difference are not nearly what it looks to be
speed / cl = value, higher = better
if the ram kit is 1600 cl9 = 177
ddr4 3200 is often cl16 = 200
its only a 12% difference, and there are ddr3 1600 cl8 kits with exactly the same performance of ddr4 3200 cl16
for cpu performance its nearly the same if you can oc the 4700k
unless you really need the i7 8700k for the 2 extra cores
