Simple fix for poor FPS on RX 570 4gb - 300MHz clock speed glitch
My Gigabyte RX 570 4Gb Gaming graphics card was performing poorly.

I came across a reference to a 300MHz glitch. Basically the GPU gets stuck in idle speed for no apparent reason. The fix? Disable the GPU via the device manager and then re-enable it.

That cleared the glitch and my GPU now operates at full speed.

FPS during GTA V benchmark has jumped from 25-35 FPS at medium settings, to 100-150 FPS at very high settings.

Hope that helps someone.

Hi, I'm also having problems with low fps with AMD rx570 as well, I play valorant and I'm getting 90-144 fps while videos peopel show with the same 4gb rx570 they are getting 200+. This is not surprising to me because thats also what is happening with other games like Cod and fortnite where mine would run significantly lower fps than what it should be, I have a VEGA 8 graphics as cpu. I did try your tip but seems to stay the same.

it seems that your cpu is the bottleneck, from the specs its likely that its a ryzen 3 2200g, fps games tend to use more of your cpu, so your gpu power is being limited to your cpu, i have an rx 570 4gb coupled with an i3 10100f (which has similiar performance to the i7 7700 or i5 9400f) and have no trouble reaching 200s
