The list of supported cpus goes up to 860k so I would say the 880k is not supported due to power requirements
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/MBNp99/msi-motherboard-a88xg45gaming
this model supports the 880k
2 more questions,
along the Athlon and Amd Cpu's what is compatible with the A68 e33? what if i took the CPU back and grabbed the ''Athlon A10 or A8 9600?
Getting another motherboard isnt in my options as of now :( what quad is my best bet?
All the supported cpus are listed on the page you linked:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/A68HM-E33#support-cpu
The overall best you can get, is the 860K.
EDIT: ALthough the VRM in that board is bad, 95W cpu isn't a wise choice to put in it unless you have airflow in the case like it would be an air tunnel.
65W cpu is the most you should put in it.
thanks! i will check out the 65w then! thanks so much is there one you consider? if not thanks anyways
