And which games in question? As those APUs are all very terrible for modern day games that are CPU-demanding types.
But even then, the A8 5500 is a HORRIBLE cpu and hugely bottlenecks 1050TI.
It is simply not strong enough to run 1050TI at 100%.
Actually I doubt it, all FM2 CPUs are just poop; worse then 6th Gen Pentium

Athlon type run all the same ^^^, never meant for gaming but ppl use them anyway, however 3-5% gpu usage is way out in left field.

More recently ^ 11:05 but painful to watch cpu pegged at %100 but still gpu not at %3.
Even on FM2+ with even its best CPU, won't come anywhere close to a
Phenom II or FX on the AM3+ socket
Everything on FM2+ socket at its best is around an Intel dual-core, if that.
FM2+ users are way worse off than AM3+ users cause at least on AM3+ if your board could handle an FX-8 just fine, that is a viable upgrade perhaps. But FM2+ has nothing that will make your PC run games better, slow is all FM2+ can be, and thats when at its best.
No one brought up FX or PII an Athlon is an athon no L3 cache and runs like crap for gaming.
Ps, again %3-%5 gpu usage is way out in left field, so he or she should be looking into proper plug placement, maybe?
Only good option is for the OP to upgrade, like at least a Ryzen 1200 + B350 + 8GB of RAM (or better above this)
But even a 1200 would be miles ahead of ANY Athlon, even all those Phenoms
My point is he should not be getting %3 gpu usage at 1080p he shouldn't, you guys sound like telemarketers sometimes with your repetitive scripts.
%3-%5 is abnormally low, maybe he's using a Duron to get that low of %.
Indeed. While 1050Ti just simply can't do 100% with the A8 5500, it shouldn't be as low as what OP is getting. 3-5% is basically idling utilization.
Then download the Chipset Drivers from AMD and the GeForce 416.16 Drivers from NVIDIA
Just so you're aware, there are "Athlon" CPU's with L3 cache: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103678
