Help with fan orientation in S340 Elite Ft. Kraken x62
Can anyone tell me what the best layout for my fans would be in my case. There is a single fan that came with the case, set to exhaust air next to the motherboard. My CPU cooler is the kraken x62. I’m just wondering should I set my kraken fans to intake? Or should I flip the fan that came with the case to intake and have the kraken fans on exhaust?
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply!

If it's the one with just one top exhaust fan slot, then yes, put the radiator fans as front intake. Use included fan as rear exhaust.

Alright, cheers for the straightforward answer :)
you have to use the front radiator mount. the top one is only 140mm not 280mm as a Kraken x62 woul require.

Yea, Pretty obvious but thanks!
For a front radiator build I'd advise aftermarket radiator fans. S340s already need plenty of static pressure to overcome the resistance of the front duct, since you've also got a radiator in the way I'd recommend either push-pull or a very powerful single set.
Have same case you can look at my rads in artowrk, 280MM RAD in front 120mm rear. To be clear you can install a 280 Rad but not with the cable gaurd installed and the fans need to be mount in front of the rad period.

push in at the front, pull out at the top

Front in,
Back out,
Top out,
bottom in.

AIO front -> blowing inside
AIO back -> blowing inside
AIO top -> blowing outside

to be honest that case has poor air flow i would get a set of 2600rpm fans(at least the rear for sure) for exaust( back rear and top) run fulll speed to pull the air thru seeing as your going to be pushing the warm air in from your water cooler.fans are cheap hardware isnt.

The airflow is just fine, curious as to why you are saying it is poor?

solid front only alllowing air flow from top and botton most air coming in from front will run thru the very top and botton fans of radiator middle will see little air unless front panel is removed.mostly solid top as well heat rises sooo...

Guess my Rad is different, I dont have dead spots. I thought you where going to say the HDD cage gets no air, that is my biggest complaint with this case and why I just slammed a pump in there instead. Fans disperse the air, as long as it is dispersed you should be fine, air is not going to just go in from top and bottom of rad only, if it was i would be having serious temp issues. If you want I can post a video showing the airflow with vapor

i understand what your saying but the air allllowed in by the upper and lower vent in the front panel is not large enough to alllow air past the upper and lower fan and allow the middle fan to push the same air flow.if you have a solid front such as this remove it and monitor your temps.thats all.

That is just it I have monitored it....Have a big old temp gauge right in front that tells me the temp before it goes into the waterblock right after the rad (you can look on my profile)..... No difference with cover removed, I had same concern, it just came out the same , I was tempted to modd that cover(Honey comb effect would look good with my build)
