PS4 Pro and 2560x1440 Monitor
I have a Dell S2716DG, how would the PS4 Pro look with the monitor? Does the console support 2560x1440?

no
hdmi does not support all monitor resolutions

you can set the 1440p monitor to display a 1080p signal in the center with black bars around it

or the monitor might be able to scale the 4k signal to 1440p

No black bars. A 2560 x 1440 p monitor scales down to 1920 x 1080p without black bars.

That not the issue it the system itself. It will work on the 1440p monitor, but it will output at 1080p.

If I remember right you only get these five options to use. 720p, 1080 i/p and 2160 YUV420/RGB

BUT you will be able to activate supersampling in 1080p mode with the ps4 pro to enhance the image quality.

No, it doesn't support QHD resolutions.

Thank you.

I bought the Xbox One X and it supports 1440p, I have both monitors and switch them around but it is great that I can play at 1440p when I don't want to switch monitors.
