Cursor doesn't move in a straight line and always tilts up or downwards.
If i move my mouse exactly straight from the right side to the left of my mousepad it won't make a straight line, instead it goes downwards and when i do it the other way around obviously upwards. I tried this on several different surfaces and i have tried 2 different mouse and it does the exact same thing. On desktop and ingame and i didn't find an actual solution or explanation when googling for it.

Sounds like you are right handed and have the mouse at an angle.

My friend experienced this same exact issue, and swore up and down that his mouse or pc was messed up. In the end, it was simply because his overall posture and mouse/keyboard placement was not that great.

Twist your hand clockwise a little bit and you'll see a change. Look into your sitting position and height, as well as mouse and keyboard placement. Probably need to move your mouse more to the right, and/or move your chair to the left.

No, i am holding the mouse exact straight and not tilted and then pull it to a side with a ruler and it doesnt go straight. It tilts into a direction pretty hard.

I have had this occassionally as well. Like it only moves inclined. Can't move it it purely up, down, left or right. Just from lower-left to upper-right. It disappears by either replugging the mouse, restarting or sometimes by just using ctrl-alt-del.

Did you find a solution?

could be hair or dust near the sensor

Yes, good! This is my comment!

Always keep your mouse sensor clean! Check it daily before each use to make sure that there aren't any pieces of stuck debris in there! A simple blowing of air, or a gentle vacuum is all that you should need to free up this issue!:steamhappy:
