why is the samsung 850 evo worth more than the 860 evo
both are 500GB, but still cant figure out why the 850 is still more expensive

The 860 replaces the 850. It's a new generation of SSDs, we can do more for less and the prices reflect that.

The 850 will be taken out of production soon if it hasn't already.
