Problems with NVidia and gamma / darkness in the screen
So since I got my 1050Ti my screen is darker than my 2nd monitor (which has output vga). The hdmi one is darker, i cant see nothing on dark scenes in games and if i add some gamma, all the screen and menus are "milky" coloured which is awful. Anybody had this problem?

Please post the make and model of both monitors.

Monitor 1 LM965 with HDMI to vga converter. Outputs from my GTX HDMI.
Monitor 2 is a samsung lcd tv which outputs from my pc vga. Intel hd graphics (integrated) but this one has the colors correctly. Is the gtx output which is VERY dark

Could be the Vga to HDMI converter. Check it's secure.

Disable Intel HD graphics. Plug both into GTX.

What connections do you have on the GTX and what do you have on each monitor?

I thought it could be but i dont have other alternative. Both monitors are old and are vga. So thats why I cant plug both on the gtx, because it has only HDMI and display port. So i cant disable Intel HD if i want the other monitor

First switch cables between monitors. Don't disconnect HDMI adapter. So

Monitor 1 LM965 with HDMI to vga converter. GTX GPU.
Monitor 2 Samsung, Intel GPU

Becomes

Monitor 1 Samsung with HDMI to vga converter. GTX GPU
Monitor 2 LM965, Intel GPU

Is the LM965 still dark? if yes it can't be the GTX, the Adapter or that cable. It's the monitor. If the Samsung is now dark. more testing neeeded.

Need to rule out GTX, Cable, Hdmi Adpater

Easier with a single monitor here.
Does your onboard/Intel GPU have a HDMI port?
If yes, plug the hdmi adapter into here. Try both monitors using the hdmi adapter. Try both without adapter on VGA only.

If motherboard doesn't have a hdmi port you'll need to try other combinations of cables/monitors/adapters. in different ways to try to isolate the faulty component.

Okay so far I changed the vga ports. And the results are: the screen connected to the gtx is always darker, so is not the monitor. But something i noticed is the next thing:
I went afk for 30 minutes or so and when I came back, the screen was off. When the screen is "cold" the gamma is working good! after some minutes the screen starts getting brighter and the gamma goes bad again. Is like, gamma works good when the screen is "waking up" after being off some time.

Check your color settings in the Nvidia control panel. Make sure you are running the proper settings for your monitor, especially color gamut.

No idea with the waking gamma. But you now know it isn't monitor specific. Leave the hdmi adapter connected to the GTX. Switch the VGA cables between monitors. If result is the same it is not the cables. Leaving the Hdmi Adpater or the GTX.

As I said try the adapter with your onboard Intel GPU, if you have hdmi port for it. Same dark screen it is likely the adapter. If Screen fine then its not the adapter.

You could move your pc next to a TV in your home. Connect the TV using a HDMI cable to the GTX to see if the TV behaves the same way.

I think is the gpu or something with the adapter, because streaming via steam link to other hdmi monitor works good. Im contacting NVIDIA support so no more worries, in the worst case ill try to use the warranty. Thanks so much for helping me, I did some useful tests ^^

Yes it the adapter or the GPU. Streaming to the Steam link bypasses the GPU output port as it also bypasses the Hdmi adapter.

If you can move you pc, temporarily next to your TV and use a proper hdmi cable to connect GTX to the TV you can identify if its the HDMI adapter or the GTX. Chances are Support with suggest you tries this anyway. If they say to return it you'll have to contact who ever you purchased it from. You'll have to pay to return the GTX where it is tested by them with a 50/50 chance it won't be found faulty. This could cost you a fee due to none fault and them testing it and return postage, depending on the compaines policies.

Even without testing it I'm pretty sure it'll be the Hdmi adapter not the GTX.
