The chance of leaks is very small.
As for leaks, there is always a chance for it, but usually it will have happened during shipping so it would be all leaked out already inside the package.
They rarely start leaking during usage.
How are some pictures of plastic and aluminum supposed to tell you if there is liquid in it or not? You don't have to see something for it actually to be there..
Yes, they will refund anything tthat is not result of you yourself mishandling the package.
So if you notice there is leak (the package is wet/has water damage), don't open it and take a picture of it.
