its in the settings app and the legacy control panel. both under power. it'll say "turn off after" etc. just change to never or extend the time beyond the length of your typical videos. I go with 3 hours which covers movies too.
Press Windows+X to show the menu, and choose Power Options on it.
Check all settings related to screen, in advance, set to zero to turn off dim, shutoff, and screen saver. Do this for month power saving mode, and stander mode.
The only option under "screen" is "when plugged in, turn off after" and that's set to 20 mins.
yeah. you're right. weird. I have watched several long-ish vids on youtube without the screen dimming. Do you have any third party power management programs installed?
Now try it out.
When you go full screen put the mouse to the side, and after two/three seconds, the playbar will go away, and screen stop being dim. Or is this Dim all the time, even if you waited few seconds while letting it play?
- Is this broswer up to date?
- Does this happen to every site?
- Do you have any extensions for your broswer?
- Any apps running in the background, such as anti virus, or other things, can interact with your broswer, or display?
- Was this something new, or always the case? Also when did it start happening? Could it be when you updated something, or Windows?
