The 4460 should work.
but that was over 20 years ago
its a socket 1150 cpu
any 4th gen i5/i7 will work (4xxx)
However if you're going to keep using the GT 1030 then don't bother with any replacement cpu.
low end GPUs require low end CPUs.
Power Supply is 320 I'm planning to upgrade the graphics card eventually I'm just looking for more progressing power. For newer games and programs from time to time I capture video game footage ever since I installed the the 1030 GT the video has been degraded, washed up and blurry. I've Been Told my current CPU isn't powerful enough for the GT
Thanks for your help after other night thinking I decided that it CPU it's way too much money with that 450 I could buy a better pre-built PC once again thanks for your advice
So, yeah, slap in a good 4th gen i7 if your mobo supports it. You will also need a bit more power. Preferably a good quality PSU at 400w, maybe 450.
As for the 1030... How does that card perform? I was surprised the other day by an old GTX 730 when I loaded a few old simple games on it and they ran pretty nicely.
The gt 1030 performs pretty well at least to me I can play cod waw and cod 4 on the higher settings
