Device hardware req specs for Steam Link?
I am thinking of buying a tablet device to play games with via the Steam Link setup, but I'm kind of guessing that there are some lower limit of what is required of the tablet to be able to handle Steam link besides just the android version, but I can't find it, so what I am asking is as stated, what (well, if any) specs are there for playing games on a tablet for Steam Link? Besides having a PC good enough and being on the same network as the PC with a preferred 5GHz wifi setup, that is.

What I am going for is likely a ~200 eurodollar (heh) Samsung tablet device so it seem that it then should be running games via link fine, so, one other last thing I am thinking of, is that if I add €100 I could buy a similar device, but with the difference that this device would have an OLED screen, question I ask here is; would an OLED screen make a substantial visual difference to an LCD screen?

Depends on the panel used in the 200€ tablet, if it's a TN panel, very big difference.
If it's an IPS panel, not that much, but still noticable.

Steam Link is meant to output from a desktop to a display and transfer input controls to the PC. It's meant for connection to a TV, not a tablet.

Steam Link is also an app for Android devices such as smartphones and tablets.
The Steam Link just got a 1 GHz ARM7 I think so unlikely very demanding there, the video bitrate is ~50 mbps to it though I don't know how hard that is, with the tablet you'll likely run wireless possibly at a lower bitrate. H.264 decoding you'd want.

Sorry didn't know you were talking about the app. The device would just receive video and send control input, so any mobile device or tablet should be fine.
