Unable to use Discrete Card

I have a Dell Inspiron 5576 with the AMD FX 9830p and RX 560 but it will only use the integrated graphics on the processor (which sucks donkey ♥♥♥♥.) I've gone into my Radeon settings and selected High power moder forall my games but it still uses the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ R7. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

uh is your display cable connected to the graphics card?

Yes, I can see and mess with the card through the radeon settings menu and can see it in games, but the games will only use the integrated. It says the RX is the card on the CPU and the R7 is the main.

dont worry about the software side of things, a number of things can happen
i want you to physically look on the back on your computer, and look if your display cable in connected in the graphics card and not the CPU

You guys are forgetting that Inspiron 5576 is a LAPTOP. The monitor is always connected to both in them when there is both integrated and discrete gpu in the system.

So i found this while searching for that model

"When you get this computer and update to the latest version, you see that your graphic card does not work. Uninstall the old one, and reinstall the AMD graphics. Do not put keep system up to date because it will download an inferior version."

If this is true
I would use DDU in safe mode and clean uninstall the drivers, also doing this will disable the option that lets Windows Update automatically install drivers

Then install the latest AMD driver available for that system and go from there

see if that makes a difference
