Make sure it's hdmi 1.4 or 2.0
Supports up to 120hz so far I know.
as far as color accuracy, it could be better but not necessarily. it depends on the display.
I have heard that IPS is much better for colors.
To quote myself:
Anyway, even if you do not get an IPS, you can always use RGB at 8bits per color pixel to get the same color depth as an IPS on YCbCr444.

Just remember to calibrate your monitor or TV properly and you should be able to get the best possible color accuracy out of it.
kind regards
I don't have the option to change my bits, I have 1050ti, I checked...
I do have a Ugreen and ATZ HDMI2.1 cables, but I use it on my Sony 4K BR player and my HTPC to my TV, hence my preference for using DP cable for PCs. As to original question from OP, I'd say that he should get the latest version HDMI cable (v2.1) and to ensure that the monitor is able to do Freesync/Gsync 75Hz via HDMI.
It doesn't hurt to get the most capable HDMI cable as these are backward compatible, my DP1.4 cables were bought a year to two years back, I can still use them on my RX 6900 XT and RX 7900 XTX cards without issue as DP1.4 can do up to 120Hz at 4K. Though, being the overspec'ed or overpowered nuttter that I am, I'd gotten a DP 2.0 cable for my RX 7900 XTX just for the heck of it.
You had to dig out a four and a half years old topic in order to express your opinion that his opinion is wrong. Cool.
At this point I'm contemplating a 4k tv that can output at 120hz. Let alone a 1080p display that can handle 75hz. LMAO.
May force be with you! Always! To infinity and Beyond!
P.s. Just to be clear the difference between 60hz and 75hz is noticeable. And 75hz is certainly more ideal. But of course you always need to factor in price points! To each his own!
P.s.s. John, I love you. Promise me you will never change ok?
lol
