Found a soft named Custom Resolution Utility that can delete some modes, but didn't test it yet
Check that your cable is a HDMI 2.0/2.0b and that the HDMI port has support for that version.
Only that version is able to properly transfer 4K 60hz.
Ps: HDMI port must be 2.0, not cable.
Oh, well that should be something you can choose in the game's settings of course.
But if your only problem is that they EXIST in the options, then my only answer is: "deal with it"
@Peabrain you're sure? I know that there are HDMI cables that can transmit Internet data or power, I think, but if they are divided on 1.4 or 2.0 cables, that I don't know. Probably they are if you say so.
Yes Im right. 1.4 to 2.0 works at a 1.4 standard. No matter which components is 1.4 or 2. The weakest is what defines what the connection is capable of.
Look at it another way. You can plug a Cat 5 cable into a gigabit ethernet port. Yes it will transmit data perfectly well. However it wont transmit 1000megabits per second because the cable is insufficeint.
Or
You buy a Aston Martin but have it supplied with a poxy 1 litre engine. It might look like an Aston martin but it lacks the engine to provide the power for the performance youd expect...
The ones with sufficient rate are being marketed as 2.0 cables.
While truly being simply "High-Speed HDMI with Ethernet". The 2.0 is there just to make it easier for people to understand what it can do.
I thought that it is almost impossible to get 1.4 HDMI cable, that all nowadays are Hi speed
Play at 2560x1440 in stead. Or make a custom resolution of 4096x2304 @60Hz and test to see if it works.
My old US Robotics 14.400bps (dial up modem) can do better.
