Razer mouse lift off problem
Recently got a new razer mamba mouse and whenever i lift my mouse off like to move my character to the right my mouse thinks its still on the mat and my guy just keeps turning. Ive calibrated my mouse pad and everything and turned my lift off range to one. I even changed the usb it was plugged into with no results. Ive deleted the mouse and reinstalled it as well.

Don't understand why you are lifting your mouse off the pad to move a character....

like in first person pubg i dont play on an insanely high sensitivity and you eventually run out of mouse pad?

Oh, I got it. The sensor works even when the mouse is off the pad to some degree. I have a Deathadder and program a DPI button to cycle between low and high setting for shooting and quick movements. Nothing wrong with the mouse; this is normal behavior.

If you prefer low DPI settings and use arm motions for games, then you will need a lot of space for mouse movements. There really isn't a compromise.

ik im late but I have the same problem. it also moves glitchy. Panther, high dpi isnt an option, youre just not as accurate. oc u need more space but u need to lift it off. It usually was fine but not it isnt anymore. When i recalibrate it it works for like an hour and then it does the ♥♥♥♥ again...

may be dust or a hair in its sensor
clean it

Try cleaning the lens with some IPA or just get it dust free and see if that helps but otherwise you would have to play around with the LOD (lift off distance) in the software. Also check if there's a fix for it online, it might be a common thing with razer.

Google mouse lift off tape trick

Some mice models have a setting for the sensor; Lift-Off Range.
You should be able to set that.
But yea even if the mouse is new, anytime the sensor appears to be "acting up" use a good flash light and visually inspect the sensor area, it could easily be dust or a single fiber or loose hair causing your problems. Easy to clean.

I lift my mouse too, some people don't so they won't understand the issue. Some mice do not like being lifted, they are unbalanced or have no grip or you activate a button when you lift them or like you say they don't stop moving.

IPA is fine for cleaning them.
My brand new razer basilisk v3 don't do that. Maybe try that one and see you can find them on sale for $59.99 which is what i paid for it.

had this exact problem with my viper mini on a generic pad, just go to calibration to set the lift-off, very painless

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
