[HELP] CPU Cooler fan not spinning.
I just got done building my first PC Ive built.

Once I turned the PC on everything was working fine. Everything but the CPU fan

Does it only turn on at a certain temparture? Or is it always on?

Or could it be the CPU Fan plug that it connects to the motherboard could be bad?

Is the fan jammed or does it spin freely? If not jammed, try plugging it into a different header (socket) on the motherboard. If that still doesn't work, I'd say your fan is probably faulty.

It spins pretty freely.

But do you think it could be that it only turns on at a certain temp?

And I did try it with another socket, same results.

What motherboard do you have?

The BIOS is probably configured to not turn the fan on until the temperature hits a certain level. If you want to check if the fan is good, you could always plug it directly into the power supply assuming you have the proper connector.
