The 750 Ti simply has more/stronger processing units then the 6850.

The question was about the 6950 not the 6850.

And the 6950 exist with both 2 and 1 GB of VRAM.

I would still prefer 750Ti but do they even cost the same?

The whole point is moot as said before the HD6xxx is no longer supported, simple as that.

I have a number of HD6xxx cards they may work but they "are no longer supported".

Ps, the HD6950 is the weaker card be it 1GB or 2GB.

Maybe there actually exist games which simply won't run on it because of that?
I haven't run into an issue but maybe I haven't tried enough new games. If I stick with an old version of the drivers though then I assume I will get poor optimization for new titles though. I don't know whatever I can and should install the new drivers even though my card isn't supported. AMD tell me there are new updates but I refuse to download them =P. Because of the lack of support. I don't know how long Nvidia support their cards either, but the 750Ti is newer.

750Ti also pull a lot less power and have built in hardware video encoder so it's the card I would prefer.

Ok but what game and applications would favor the Radeon I’m still confused on how the 750 is so much better but still some applications would favor the radeon
