AMD Phenom II X6 1050T reaching 80 degrees c when idle
Awhile back, I made a thread asking why my computer was performing poorly, and, other than the fact that my computer has been deemed 'ancient', I realised another issue. When looking at the temperature of the CPU using Speccy, it says it goes to about 77 degrees while idling, not playing any games or anything. I tried to search online to find a normal temperature for idling and gaming, and found only things about Phenom II X6 1055T, but that shouldn't make a difference. Anyways, the average idle temperature I saw was way lower than that, so I am going to make a very sophisticated guess that the fan on my CPU doesn't work anymore. What can I do to make it not overheat and thermal throttle itself? Here's a picture of my CPU (as good as i can take it and yes while it's on) since I have no idea how else to specify what fan the CPU is using. https://imgur.com/a/uOcIT

You may even use the side fan as intake like I did, and slap a piece of cloth to prevent dust.
