7700k 5ghz voltage
So i spent a good portion of yesterday tinkering just to see what i could get out of my cpu and suprisingly i got 5.1 on an aio stable without hitting max temp but still too much. Anyway i though those of us with kaby lake could have a little friendly competetion and see just how low you can get your voltage stable at 5ghz.

Ill start so far im at 1.34v on the core with a max of 82c
Got my ram oc to 2800mhz with 1.286 volts

So what kind of voltage and temps can you get out of your kaby??

How did the 5.1 do on firestrike and how high a voltage did you need?

This is more a contest of luck also than anything else, and validation links would help :)
For me I've got my 7900x at 5GHz on 1.37v at around 80c.

I havent ran any scored benchmarks yet i only ran aida64 and cpuz to stress that it would last because im still trying for lower voltages also i dont wanna pay for 3d mark lol

I have to take pics of the bios for the voltage and ill upload them for some reason hwinfo only shows my voltage at 1.275 max

Never beleive me but i actually had 5.1 stable at 1.375 volts it crashed at 11 hours of aida64

Edit just passed intel's extreme utility benchmark at 1.30 volts 1375 score

I believe it just curious how it scored, you can download 3dmark trial for free which gives access to all the basic tests, cpuz has a validate button which can be useful, if for nothing else than for when you come to sell the chip, a 5.1 capable chip has a higher value than a 4.8 after all :)

Yeah im downloading asus realbench now i think it has a score and leader board system
Here you go 3dmark free https://www.futuremark.com/support/downloads personally I run it direct instead f the steam version so as to remove needing steam running from my runs.

120mm? what..that doesnt make any sense..if im at absolute load my 7700k @ 4.8 reaches 90 degrees. and i have a 240mm corsair h100i v2

What paste are you using? Im using hydronaut and its doing pretty damn well also whats your voltage mine at 5 is a lot lower than most peoples so im not generating as much heat if i bump the voltage to about 1.6 i hit 91c on core 2 but the rest are 88-89c

Heres another benchmark with my max temps at 5ghz 1.32 on the core core 4 hit 85c. The others are 83, 81, and 82c i ran it a few times to make sure they werent fluke cold start temps that was test number 4.

you won the silicon lottery as far as im concerned. im using stock paste with the cooler and was running at 1.3 volts. but have you delidded your cpu?

Ugh, why do people keep using CPU-Z as stress test? It's miles off for both stability and temp.

So lets see yours? Im stressing realbench right now

Wow man thats extremely impressive good work! I can only assume you are on a water loop with those kinds of numbers? Hows your 8700k fairing hot the lotto again?
