watercooling warranties with leaks??
If a part (like a cpu waterblock) leaks in a place where it is not a user error, like where it makes contact with the cpu, can i then get a new cpu and waterblock? Will the waterblock company pay for the new cpu, or what will happen? Also, what are the odds? I am speculating on watercooling so i would like to know the odds of leaks if you tighten good enough.

Cooler Master makes an Nvidia edition case consisting of green parts. You can find green SATA cables and add a reference Nvidia GPU with green light maybe. RGB can also be used to illuminate in green.

John for your offer sounds quite nice, although a GTX 1070 fe in Denmark costs 7000 DKK, whereas a normal one from Asus or MSI only costs 4000 dkk

I Think i might just go with ol' red/Black although it is very un-original

You can paint the shell on the GPU's, just don't paint the fans. You can go for any cooler you like, just that for custom water cooling it's pretty silly to go for IMO, if not for extream overclocking, or very high end hardware, as they're expensive, and great for giving static looks with the build, but if you don't want to spend a whole lot, then a air coolers are the best to go for mainly because they last forever, other than fans that can be simply replace easily, no risks at all, and super easy to clean.

You could go for green, and black build. Dark rock Pro is a good idea, since it has black fans.

What green parts are there though? That fits a Black/green scheme, so not a fe gpu.

Green case

----

you additonally can use green and black cable mods (single sleeves), green fans etc. you can mod and paint or use rgeen vinyl to color your case green besides water cooling.

---

if you really want to water cool then you should read into it how to build a custom loop, maintain the loop and what it requires. If you would do that, you also know that leaking isnt really an issue unless you cant build a proper loop in which case you shouldnt water cool anyways.
About your temps. I reached max 79-80C in P95 with a 7700K at 1.415V with 5.3GHz on a Noctua NH-D15. So water cooling gives you better temps but below HEDTS like an i9 with insane OC'ing like Monk did there is no need to do it anyways.

Not saying that i Care, nor do i Say that i dont, but doesnt that void warranty? Even though the chances of a gpu failing is probs like 1:500 000

Custom water cooling loops need to be tested, used paper towels with the pump loop on and the PC itself off. Components such as graphic card and hard drives left out if possible and not in the loop itself. Professionals would test this for up to 24 hours. Some even isolate small areas of the watering cooling system at a time and inject distilled water into those areas, checking leakage via paper towels sitting underneath.

Failure to do so and having a leak in the loop would likely be your own fault and not covered by warranty or insurance.

Yes, which you should be questing yourself, do you plan on overclocking the GPU, and try to draw the max out of it? If no then your odds of failing is even lower, other thing when getting a new GPU/CPU is stress testing it 1st before doing anything to the hardware, to ensure there's no issues.

You can use Plasti Dip you can peel it right off, and they won't know about it being painted, as long you did a good neat job, and not half a$$ it. ALSO what ever you do, do not, and I really mean it, don't mix the paint to change the colours, stick to what came in the can as one single colour, go to Home Depot, or order online for the colour you're looking for, but do no mix, and change colours, as that's not good idea to be doing. If you want to do art design, wait until the 1st colour is complately dry, then do your art design on top of it, or tape out the work before painting the area.

thanks very much to both of you! Even though i might just make a red/black build now, i know that plastidip is an option :)

Used it in my build to change the sli bridge white from gun metal, which totally ruined the look so needed to be done.
