dllhost.exe(COM surrogate)'s and windows explorer's high CPU usage.
So, I'm not asking about that problem, but about a problem that occured and why I'm affraid to finish fixing the 1st problem. so I was doing a schoolwork in MS Word when I noticed my mouse just started glitching etc. I have Advanced system care performance monitor on my right screen, and I have noticed my CPU was at 100%, and 2 biggest processes were COM surrogate and windows explorer. I have started searching all over the web, and downloaded process explorer. and as process explorer led people to a corrupted image file etc., mine led to a .dll file, so I'm affraid to remove it. .dll file is comctl32.dll, and the path is C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_5.82.7601.18837_none_a4d981ff711297b6 . Is the .dll file essential for windows and/or should I remove it? Is there any other fix besides removing it? what does that .dll do?

Apps/Services go through a seperate COM surrogate to communicate with the Internet, its normal to see those come and go as you use Windows OS.

The CPU usage might be due to Windows Updates running and/or updating.
